Hebden
Bridge is a bohemian, artistic town full of interesting
places and people, with a friendly, tolerant vibe.
A holiday in Yorkshire? Take a look at this:
This small but perfectly formed town is surrounded by amazing countryside which can be
easily accessed without getting into the car, we have two large areas of
woodland within a couple of hundred metres from the front door with
paths radiating for miles into unspoiled forest and moorland, along the
rivers and into Hardcastle Crags. The Rochdale Canal runs through the town, many people live on it in boats and many more enjoy walking and cycling on this linear park and wildlife sanctuary.
Hebden has been written up
by the Guardian, Lonely
Planet and even British Airways who called it the funkiest place in
Britain.
There is live music locally almost every night of the week, at the
Trades Club and the Stubbing Wharf amongst others. We also have three
microbreweries; an arts festival; food festival; Mind, Body and Spirit festival; Piano festival; Burlesque Weekend; Handmade Parade, Walk and Ride festival
and
more....oh and the Tour de France is coming too
There is lots of good information here, provided by another provider of holiday accommodation in Hebden Bridge, check their prices if you wish - sit down first. If our lower price and modern vintage style at No1 doesn't bring you back, I'll eat my Fat Rascal!
